Coldest Night of the Year Ottawa Lowertown 2019 was a huge success! Together Jericho Road Ministries and Capital City Mission were able to surpass our fundraising goal, and raise $83,000 and counting.
For two small charities meeting the needs of many in our city, this money goes a very long way! Though we meet these needs differently – Jericho Road Ministries through addictions counselling and mental health support homes and Capital City Mission through a daily drop-in and chaplain care – we both seek to demonstrate God’s love and show people their belovedness.
The event was also a blast so thank you for being so fun! This year we had more kids join than ever and the energy in the gym before the event was exciting. We had cookies street side and the weather happily was not “the coldest night of the year.”
This success was only possible because of the 250+ people who walked with us on February 23rd. Thank you to our walkers! And thank you donors and sponsors for your generosity!
Thank you for joining with us! Together we can do great things!
