Get Involved

Capital City Mission is the work of the body, the church. It does not receive government funding and is entirely dependent on the donations of churches and individuals. It is with gratitude that we invite you to think about how you could participate in this ministry, through financial support, volunteering, donations, and/or prayer.

Financial Support

Monthly Giving

As a small not-for-profit, it is the consistent donations of many faithful individuals and churches that allow us the stability to open our doors.

One-time Donations

One-time donations can be made by cash or cheque made out to Capital City Mission and mailed dropped off or mailed to 521 Rideau St, Ottawa, On, K1N 5Z5. Please ensure that you include your mailing address so that we can send you a tax receipt.

Online Donations: You can give online through CanadaHelps.org. Your donation will be processed by CanadaHelps.org, a not-for-profit organization that facilitates on-line donations through a secure site. They can manage a set monthly commitment or a one time donation. CanadaHelps.org quickly transfers your donations (less credit card charges) to Capital City Mission. CanadaHelps.org will email a tax receipt but you may also donate anonymously if you choose.

Volunteer

The work of Capital City Mission is only possible because of the many volunteers who have been ministering in our community for years.

Individuals: We have opportunities for individuals to volunteer weekly at The Drop-In during weekdays or evenings.

Groups: We also welcome small groups to come and visit our community. Whether you would like to prepare a meal, desserts, or just come and spent time in our community, you would be welcome.

Please contact Timothy or Keltie at 613-241-2407 or ccm@capitalcitymission.com.
